Junior Faculty Research Award in Science and Engineering

The CUNY Junior Faculty Research Award in Science and Engineering Program aims to cultivate the excellence and ensure the promise of research-intensive, early career, science and engineering faculty at CUNY.

Collaborative Incentive Research Grant (CIRG)

The purpose of the Collaborative Incentive Research Grants Program is to enhance, through multi-campus collaborations, the prestige and prominence of the University to a national and international audience.

Community College Collaborative Incentive Research Grant (C³IRG)

The purpose of this Program is to support the research efforts of faculty, especially junior faculty, at the Community Colleges, and to encourage collaborations with faculty within and across the CUNY campuses.

Travel Funds Program

The Office of Academic Affairs has limited funds that can be made available to assist with travel for specific occasions.

Bridge Fund Program

CUNY faculty who run externally funded research programs and who run into a funding crisis due to a competitive renewal of their grant not being funded may apply for bridge funds under specific circumstances.
