Baruch's White House Intern

Abe Goldschmidt (Baruch College '07) is currently assisting Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign, but he has already worked in the White House. Goldschmidt added that credential to his impressive political resume earlier this year via a prestigious White House internship. "I would go through 23 to 27 newspapers every day," and draft "substantive" briefs, he said of his assignment in the White House Office of Political Affairs. He praised Baruch's "flexible schedule and evening hours," which have enabled him to take advantage of a variety of internships. His goal of attending law school dates to an internship in the office of Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. Hynes.
