CUNY is a complex and diverse system. To have lasting and efficacious impact, Inclusive Excellence initiatives must be well coordinated, well placed and well supported. Building on the work that has been done properly demands broad input and participation and a strategy that coordinates the goals of IE in the context of the goals for the University. We have begun to construct the infrastructure for meeting our objectives with the establishment of the Office of Recruitment and Diversity and this effort will be continued by attempts to determine strategic priorities to meet IE needs.
