The John Jay College Honors Program
The John Jay College Honors Program, open to entering freshmen, seeks to provide cultural, social and academic opportunities to exceptionally motivated undergraduates. Students will work in special honors sections of courses that fulfill the college’s general education requirements and attend a series of honors seminars taught by distinguished professors. They will have the opportunity to collaborate on original research projects with doctoral students and eminent professors. The program provides a $500 annual book stipend for 4 years, a free subscription to the weekday New York Times and a travel stipend to present honors research at a national conference.
