The following is a list of application postmark deadlines and when admission decision notification begins. The admission application, application-processing fee and all supporting documents must be postmarked by the deadline date. Applications received after this date will be considered on a space-available basis. CUNY operates on a rolling admission basis; therefore, colleges and programs may close before the deadline.

The University is pleased to announce The New Community College at CUNY - an exciting new opportunity for students. Beginning on October 17, The New Community College will be available as an option on the CUNY application for fall 2012 admission. At that time, applicants who included a community college on their CUNY application will be notified of the option to modify their applications and include The New Community College as one of their choice colleges.

*Two-step notification process: 1) February 1 - Applicants will be notified of their admission decision as General Freshman by all college choices listed on their application. 2) March 15 - Macaulay applicants will be notified of their admission decision into Macaulay Honors College by only one of the college choices listed on their application.
**All other applicants to selective programs will be notified of their admission decision at a later date.
