
Results for the October 2010 CPE will be available to students online through the CUNY portal eCPE link during the second week of December 2010. Approximately two weeks later, students will receive their test results in a letter sent by U.S. mail.
You do not have to retake the examination. The CPE is no longer a degree requirement for any CUNY student, past, present, or future.
The failure will have no effect, since passing the test is no longer a degree requirement. You will not be prohibited from registering for your courses. You will not be required to take an intervention such as a workshop. The failure will not affect your ability to transfer within CUNY.
If you passed the CPE in October, "CPE Pass" will appear on your transcript and become part of your permanent record. Students with scores of 58 or higher will receive a notation of "pass with distinction". CPE failures do not appear on student transcripts.
