2012 La Guardia ASAP Professionalization Events
On September 14, ASAP students visited the corporate offices of Steve Madden in Long Island City. Students were given an extensive tour of the office and gained a greater understanding of the business.
On September 24, ASAP students attended a career trip to the Hyatt Grand Central Hotel. They had the opportunity to speak to industry executives and received an extensive tour of the facility.
On October 4, ASAP students visited the Brooklyn Grange rooftop garden and learned about the industry and career possibilities.
On October 5, ASAP students attended a live television taping at WABC studios, and received a tour of the facility.
On November 16, ASAP students visited Sesame Street Workshop's corporate offices. There they learned about internships and job possibilities.
