As of Fall 2011 ASAP serves a vibrant group of 1,285 students enrolled in full-time coursework on CUNY's six community college campuses.  These students hail from all areas of New York City and represent a broad range of ages, backgrounds, and academic aspirations.

Leadership Program

 

Before the beginning of the fall semester, all incoming ASAP students participate in a 3-day summer institute involving community building activities and arts workshops.  At the beginning of the spring semester teams of outstanding ASAP students are nominated and selected from each college to participate in ASAP's Leadership Program.  Please visit the Summer Institute page and the Leadership Program page for more information.




Transfer Program



ASAP supports its best and brightest graduates in the next phase of their educational journeys.  The ASAP Transfer Scholarship Program rewards high-achieving two-year graduates of ASAP who matriculate into baccalaureate programs at select CUNY senior colleges.  To learn more, click here >>
