Janet Kwok

Research Analyst


Janet Kwok is a Research Analyst in the Office of Research, Evaluation, and Program Support. She is primarily affiliated with CUNY’s COPE (College Opportunity to Prepare for Employment), POISED (Perfect Opportunity for Individual Skills and Educational Development) for Success and CLIP (CUNY Language Immersion Program) initiatives. In her role as researcher, she provides these programs with data management and analytic support for the purposes of evaluation and improving operations. Janet brings to this position her interest in mixed methods, drawing upon statistical, computational, and qualitative approaches.

 Janet received her doctorate in Human Development and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she pursued projects focused on supporting the development of civic engagement in young people. From 2012-2014, she was a Spencer Foundation New Civics Early Career Scholar, focusing on the analysis of social media discussions around political issues. Janet is honored to be a part of CUNY’s ongoing commitment to fulfilling the mission and ideals of public education.
