Continuing and Professional Education

Whether you are a first-time college applicant, returning to college to complete your degree, pursuing a second degree to change professional fields, or looking to advance your current field, CUNY has a program to meet your need. Each year, tens of thousands of new and experienced professionals take continuing education coursework in fields that include: business and accounting, nursing and allied health, buildings and construction, advanced manufacturing, food services, hospitality and tourism, education, law, and information technology.

Entrepreneurship Certificate Program at Baruch

CUNY CareerPATH offers you career training, job placement and support obtaining a college degree. Train for employment in one of five sectors including healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, culinary arts and hospitality, and manufacturing.

The Helena Rubinstein Scholarship Fund supports individuals seeking career advancement through education and training, and who do not have access to other sources of funding that can pay for tuition and fees. Scholarship funds can cover up to 90% of program costs.

The New York City Welcome Back Center, located at LaGuardia Community College, helps internationally-trained healthcare professionals enter the profession in New York State. The Welcome Back Center offers licensure guidance for physicians, nurses, licensed practical nurses and vocational registered nurses, psychologists and social workers.

CUNY graduates are leading the way to a greener future. CUNY colleges offer Green Training programs in renewable energy, construction and design, building operations, and more.

This program teaches entrepreneurs and small business owners how to start and run a business. Participants will learn how to develop a business concept, develop financial goals, and maintain and grow a successful business operation.
