Installer Resources
Sustainable CUNY and the New York City Solar America City Partnership are working with Con Edison, NYSERDA, the NYC Department of Buildings, and the FDNY to shorten and streamline the permitting and interconnection process for installing solar in New York City. The Partnership is also working to educate installers about how to navigate the current process and recently held an installer training at Con Edison's learning center in Long Island City with over 100 attendees. The presentations given at that event are available below and provide useful information on how to navigate each organization's process.
