KINGSBOROUGH COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO HOST AWARD-WINNING ECO-FESTIVAL APRIL 13-15

Kingsborough Community College (KCC), Brooklyn's only community college, has announced that it will host its sixth annual Eco-Festival, April 13-15, 2011. The theme is "Sustaining Waters." The three-day event is free and open to the public. The opening session begins at 10:20 a.m., Wednesday, April 13. The goals of Eco-Festival are to raise ecological literacy, foster global citizenship, promote meaningful dialogue about environmental issues and inspire environmental action and stewardship.
