Alison Kling
NYC Solar Coordinator
Alison Kling has served as the New York City Solar Coordinator at CUNY since 2009. She leads the day-to-day implementation of the NYC Solar America City Partnership initiatives, supported by the U.S. Department of Energy and NYSERDA. Before joining CUNY she was an Assistant VP in the Energy Policy Department at the NYC Economic Development Corporation. She holds a Masters in Urban Planning from NYU and a BA from Middlebury College.
Ryan Peck
Solar Ombudsman
Ryan Peck works as a New York City Solar Ombudsman. In this capacity, he streamlines the permitting process with city and state agencies as well as utilities. In addition, he manages a citywide data monitoring project. Before joining the NYC Solar America City Partnership, Ryan developed CSP projects in Spain and worked with the California Energy Commission to improve the permitting process for CSP plants in the Mojave Desert. Ryan earned a European Masters in Renewable Energy from the University of Zaragoza as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. He also earned a MA in Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a BA in Biology from Earlham College.
