Medgar Evers College
|
Medgar Evers College is situated in three buildings at their Brooklyn location and the campus is an exciting blend of the old and the new. The Bedford Building was opened in 1988. The Carroll Building, the first permanent building of the College to which it moved in 1972, is a Brooklyn landmark originally built in 1906 for the Brooklyn Preparatory School. The Bedford Avenue facility is a three-story building housing the 500-seat Founder’s Auditorium, a 75-seat lecture hall, the College Library, classrooms, cafeteria, student lounge and an amphitheater. The Carroll Street facility, which is a four-story structure, houses the School of Science, Health and Technology. The third building is designated for student administration services. |
