A Tale of Two Obese Cities: Comparing the Response of
New York City and London to The Epidemic of Childhood Obesity.
Tuesday, April 7, 5:30 - 7 pm. CUNY Graduate Center. For the last
year, faculty and students from CUNY and London Metropolitan
University and health offocials from New York City and London have met
to analyze the public and private sector responses to childhood obesity
in these two cities. At this session, speakers from London and NY will
present their findings and analyze the implciatuions for the roles of
city government, public universities and civil society organziaztions.
