Help CUNY Students Affected by Hurricane Sandy

CUNY estimates that 7,700 students live in the evacuation zone and approximately 87,000 live in low-lying zip codes

• At least 1000 students currently do not have permanent shelter or basic necessities  including over 650 students who had to evacuate from their campus’ residential facility

• CUNY lost the lives of four of its students as a direct result of this storm

• The primary objective of this fund is to provide immediate assistance to students so they may remain enrolled and continue their education

• 100% of all funds donated to CUNY’s Students  Hurricane Relief Fund will go directly to students
