This subcommittee will look at issues of articulation from community to senior colleges both from an administrative perspective (e.g. articulation of credit-bearing courses for transfer purposes), as well as in terms of progressive information literacy goals, Gen Ed requirements, etc. This committee will also look at equivalencies across college type for information literacy, e.g., 4 yr - 4 yr; 2 yr - 2 yr.

This subcommittee seeks to identify and obtain relevant feedback on the use and
implementation of assessments on CUNY campuses, and make use of technology to
effectively collaborate and share in the development of information literacy assessments
across CUNY. The subcommittee will strive to identify and suggest best practices
for measuring successful student information literacy at the individual program level
and address assessment standards.

This subcommittee has determined the following categories for a CUNY IL website, and will add content once the site is up: Public area: Instruction documents, syllabi, assessment tools, campus and CUNY-wide written goals and objectives, list of CUNY committees etc. of interest to IL (e.g. GenEd, CUE, etc.). Committee area: documents related to the work of LILAC e.g. meeting minutes.
This subcommittee is charged with creating and maintaining information literacy tools to be used by the libraries on all CUNY campuses.
